As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting for CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dayshift team within our components division.
The successful applicant will report directly to the department team leader.
Essential Criteria:
- Ability to accurately read & interpret engineering drawings
- Experience setting machines with Fanuc controls
- Machine Operation
- Experience of in process inspection of goods and carrying out quality checks
- Ability to meticulously prepare products for the next stage of the production process
- Fully competent with CNC software
- Knowledge of machining, particularly CNC lathes
- Experience of operating workshop machinery
- Willingness to operate in line with company health & safety policy relative to the workshop environment
- Strong communication skills both verbal & written
- Strong numeracy & literacy skills
- Willingness to operate in a safe & responsible manner at all times
- Willingness to maintain good housekeeping levels & a safe working environment
- Willingness to be flexible in accordance with the business needs
Desirable Criteria:
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a busy precision engineering environment
Hours of Work:
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
Friday: 07:30 – 13:30
